The Wicked Wiz of the West is the Dean Hamilton Vocal Conservatory (DHVC)'s Summer 2024 Showcase Production. This high-energy showcase is a tribute to L. Frank Baum's Ladies of Oz, brought to you by the young ladies of the DHVC. The Wicked Wiz of the West will feature large ensemble numbers and individual solos in a contemporary adaptation of your favorite musicals Wicked composed by Stephen Schwartz, The Wiz composed by Quincy Jones, and the Wizard of Oz composed by Harold Arlen performed by Dean Hamilton Vocal Conservatory students.

In addition to magical worlds of "Wizard of Oz," "Wicked," and "The Wiz," immerse yourself in a captivating musical journey with our Spellbound Recital Series for the DHVC academic year 2023-2024. This enchanting series showcases the extraordinary talents of our students, weaving together the timeless compositions of Antonio Vivaldi and the solo repertoire of the 24 Italian Songs and Arias, the soulful melodies of the collaborative duo, Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn with selections the Real Vocal Book, and the groovy hits of Earth, Wind, and Fire along with iconic 70s Pop/Rock Songs.
